Pharmacology：
Tylosin belongs to macrolides anti-bacterial drugs. It is mainly effective on gram-positive bacterial and mycoplasma. Its effect is weaker on bacteria, but stronger on mycoplasma. Sensitive gram-positive bacterium contains Staphylococcus aureus (including Staphylococcus aureus resistant to penicillin), Pneumococcus, Streptococcus, Bacillus anthracic, Listeria, Clostridium septicum, Clostridium Chauvel. This product can produce sensitive bacteria resistance. Staphylococcus aureus has some cross resistance to Tylosin and Erythrocin.
The antibacterial action mechanism of Tylosin is as below: Tylosin combines with 50S subunits of bacterial ribosomal reversibly. Transpeptidation and displacement of mRNA will be blocked, so that the bacterial protein synthesis will be inhibited. This effect is basically limited to rapidly dividing bacterial and mycoplasma. Tylosin belongs to fastly effective bacteriostatic agent in the growth stage.
Advantages:
It can be used for treatment of infection by gram-positive bacteria and Mycoplasm, such as necrotic enteritis caused by chronic respiratory disease, infectious coryza and clostridium perfringens of chicken, mycoplasmal pneumoniae of swine.
Precautions:
(1) It is prohibited to be used during the term of laying eggs.
(2) It is prohibited to be used by horse categories because it can cause lethal diarrhea.
(3) Tylosin can cause Dermatitis when attached by man.
Usage&dosage:
To calculated by this product. Mixed for drinking: For infection by bacteria and mycoplasma, 352～704g for pig and 264-528g for chicken per kg feed.
Withdrawal time：5 days for pig and chicken.
